Inequality, suppression, prejudice, and harassment are traits common in almost all societies around the globe. The overall acceptances of women’s rights – in terms of education, job opportunities, and the right to control their own bodies – are blatantly denied in some places more than others. We’re all aware of the state of women’s rights in countries like Saudi Arabia, so here’s a list of 5 other places you should probably steer clear of if you’re a woman.


Malala Yousufzai’s struggle for the women’s right to education in Pakistan’s patriarchal society represents only one of the many struggles of women in Pakistan.
